Jessica Powell

My work is a very personal reflection of my life.  Most prominently-my role as a Mother- the flowery and the dark, often wrestling with the balancing act of daily life. I enjoy working mostly with watercolor and oil; however, my love for pen defines most of my illustrative work.  My work as an Art Educator for the last 12 years has provided me the opportunity to push my own work in new directions. I find that my students challenge me as much as I challenge them.
